One-Bowl Chocolate Cake

Indulge in the rich and moist goodness of this One-Bowl Chocolate Cake. It's incredibly easy to make, and you'll only need one bowl for both mixing and clean-up!

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350F 175C

Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans

In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt

Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients

Mix well until smooth

Stir in the boiling water until the batter is thin

Don't worry; it will be quite liquidy

Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean

Remove the cakes from the oven and allow them to cool in the pans for 10 minutes

After 10 minutes, remove the cakes from the pans and place them on a wire rack to cool completely

Once cooled, you can frost and decorate your One-Bowl Chocolate Cake as desired
